OBITUARIES:  (published Feb. 28, 2019)

Robert Peterson
Robert “Bob” Peterson, 79, of Clarendon Hills died Feb. 22, 2019.
   Bob was a proud U.S. Army Veteran, retired vice president of merchandising management in the furniture division of United Supply Co. As an avid golfer, he developed many good golfing buddies in the Chicago area and in Marco Island, Fla.
   He is survived by his wife, Lynn Peterson, nee Morrow; his two daughters, Joyce Peterson and Kathleen (Michael) Howe; and his grandchildren, Meagan and Stephen Howe.
   A funeral service was held Feb. 24 at Notre Dame Church in Clarendon Hills.
   Interment was private.
   Memorials may be made to St. Thomas Hospice,
   Sullivan Funeral Home in Hinsdale handled the arrangements.

Christopher Joel Revord
Christopher Joel Revord, 56, of Hinsdale, passed away Feb. 25, 2019, while under the care of hospice and supported by his family and friends.
   He was born to parents Francis Revord and Doris Cogswell in 1962 in Evergreen Park and grew up in Orland Park with his four brothers. 
   Chris graduated from Carl Sandburg High School in 1980 and went on to major in finance at the University of Kentucky, graduating in 1984. In college, Chris continued to pursue his love of cross country and track and field while competing alongside his teammates and lifelong friends.
   Following college, he worked as an options trader for Chicago Research Trading at the CBOE. After eight years at the CBOE, Chris continued his trading career over in Tokyo, Japan, working with Asian options products. Over the next 10 years, Chris stayed active in the options markets working for CMZ Trading, Blue Capital and Typhoon FX. During his last years he worked to develop educational software for his company, YouBthere. Chris enjoyed coaching and actively following his children in their athletic pursuits.
   Chris met Callie Bolattino in 1996 and they were married Dec. 19, 1998, in Joliet. Together they raised two daughters and two sons and lived in Tokyo, Japan and Hinsdale.
   He was preceded in death by his father, Francis; and his mother, Doris Revord.
   Chris is survived by his wife, Callie Revord; his children, Reilly, McKenna, Colby and Cooper; his stepmother, Joy Revord; his brothers, Scott (MaryJo), Michael, Jon (Suzanne) and David Revord; his nieces and nephews, Jon Jr., Jason, Justin and Kalyn, Ronald (Sarah), Austin, Lexie, Connor and Hunter Revord and Ashley (Brett) Cottrell.
   Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 today, Feb. 28, at Adolf Funeral Home, 7000 S. Madison St., Willowbrook.
   Friends and family will gather for a 10:45 a.m. Mass on Friday, March 1, at St. Michael’s Church, 14327 Highland Avenue, Orland Park.
   Interment will be private at Bronswood Cemetery in Oak Brook. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made online to The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation at
   Brian Powell Funeral Directors of Hinsdale handled the arrangements.

Billie D. Schreiber
Billie D. Schreiber, a 55-year Hinsdale resident, passed away Feb. 21, at home with her family by her side.
   Billie was born in 1931 in Clarendon, Ark. She was an avid gardener and also enjoyed boating and interior decorating.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Jr.; and her sister, Jacquelyn Sirany.
   She is survived by her children, Candice and Thomas Schreiber; and her sister, Dorothy Ingram.
   Interment was private at Shady Grove Cemetery in Clarendon, Ark.
   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made online to Hinsdale Humane Society at
   Brian Powell Funeral Directors of Hinsdale handled the arrangements.

Chrles William "Bill" Sherlock
Charles William “Bill” Sherlock, 92, died Feb. 21, 2019.
   He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Lou (James) Gwynn.
   He is survived by his wife, Mary Kay Sherlock, nee Beaty; his children, Matthew (Kim) Sherlock and John (Barbara) Sherlock; his grandchildren, Morgan, Jake, Jamie, Alison and Jack; his siblings, Ethelmae (the late Peter) Waters of Hinsdale and Joe Sherlock; his sister-in-law, Marion Sherlock; and many nieces and nephews.
   A funeral Mass was said Feb. 25 at St. Francis Xavier Church in La Grange.
   Interment was at Assumption Cemetery in Glenwood.
   Sullivan Funeral Home in Hinsdale handled the arrangements.
