    Hinsdale police were involved in the apprehension of three men accused of armed carjacking on Saturday. The U.S. lost local publications at a rate of 2.5 per week in 2023, according to researchers at the Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications at Northwestern University in the school’s annual “State of Local News Project.” That’s up from two per week in 2022 and has resulted in at least 204 U.S. counties with no local news outlet.
