    Hinsdale police are investigating an attempted armed robbery that occurred at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at Shiny Nails, 5823 S. Madison St. The preliminary investigation indicates that a Hispanic male entered the business, brandished a hand gun and ordered a customer and an employee to the floor. He made a demand for money but left the business prior to obtaining any currency. He fled on foot from the scene.
