Carmela Martini, 62, died April 15, 2022. Carmela grew up in Clarendon Hills and graduated from Hinsdale Central High School. She went on to earn degrees in marketing and journalism from Southern Methodist University. She was a collegiate and alumnae officer with the Delta Gamma Women’s Fraternity and served on their National Council as vice president of membership and vice president of communications. Cameron Price Creed, 65, formerly of Hinsdale, passed away peacefully April 11, 2022, after a long illness. Cameron graduated with the class of 1975 from Hinsdale Central High School. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina and her master's in education from the University of Texas in Austin, where she was a longtime resident and teacher.
