Hinsdale firefighters responded to a utility pole fire Friday afternoon on Third Street between Washington and Lincoln streets. Firefighters had to wait about an hour for ComEd to arrive to shut the power off to the pole before they could extinguish the fire. When the power was turned off many businesses were affected.
