Joe Chiodo, a former U.S. Secret Service Officer, Marine Corps veteran and Purple Heart recipient, died of complications from cancer Nov. 29, 2019. He was 74. ATHLETES SCORE FOR ST. JUDE’S The Hinsdale Central girls volleyball program raised $2,500 at its Volley for the Cure Oct. 9. Proceeds will be donated both to St. Jude’ Research Hospital and to a Hinsdale Central staff member whose family is battling cancer.
