The DuPage County Health Department reported 11 new cases of COVID-19 in Hinsdale over the past week, bringing the total number of cases in the DuPage County portion of Hinsdale to 4,390, compared to 4,379 last week. Residents can take advantage of opportunities to recycle holiday items over the next few weeks. The village of Hinsdale will collect real Christmas trees for free when placed at the curb during the weeks following New Year’s Day. All decorations and trimming must be removed. Members of the Hinsdale Junior Woman's Club held their annual Gifts of the Season Dec. 10. The club purchased more than 500 Christmas gifts for 317 individuals who are clients of HCS Family Services.
