    The DuPage County Health Department reported 20 new cases of COVID-19 in Hinsdale over the past week, bringing the total number of cases in the DuPage County portion of Hinsdale to 4,199, compared to 4,179 last week. The Cook County Health Department no longer reports on cases specific to Hinsdale. The number of cases per 100,000 population in DuPage was 13.8 on Sept. 28, compared to 15.4 on Sept. 20.     Although some people who were in the vicinity of Fourth and Garfield about 5:40 p.m. Sept. 24 reported they heard gun shots, no guns were fired, according to Hinsdale police.     Who let the dogs in? - Hinsdale's Park and Rec department held its annual Dog Days of Summer last weekend at the Hinsdale Community Pool. With smaller dogs taking the first shift and larger dogs on the second shift, the pools saw plenty of activity for the last official event of the season.
