Falcons night - Members of the Hinsdale Falcons football teams flocked onto Dickinson Field Friday night as the Hinsdale Central Red Devils took the field. In addition to greeting the team, several Falcon players also helped out with unfurling a large American flag for the National Anthem as part of the Red Devil's Salute to Service prior to the game. FASHION SHOW supports HHS Rino Burdi and Burdi Clothing in Hinsdale held a fundraiser Oct. 6 and raised $12,000 for the Hinsdale Humane Society. The community came out in force. The Hinsdale Police Depart-ment has been awarded a Federal Fiscal Year 2023 Sustained Traffic Enforcement Program grant to conduct additional traffic safety efforts. PROJECT RISE DONATES TO HCS Members of the Chicago Project Rise team donated several boxes of laundry soap, dish detergent and personal care items to HCS Family Services Sept. 15. This is the third donation Project Rise has made to HCS this year, following diaper drives in May and June. Hinsdale police discovered four stolen vehicles in the village last week, chasing them to the La Grange village boundary, according to Hinsdale Police Chief Brian King. At 4:48 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, Hinsdale patrol officers made contact with the four vehicles in the 10 block of North Grant Ave. The vehicles, which were later determined to have been stolen from Burr Ridge and Indian Head Park, fled east with officers in pursuit.
