The Clarendon Hills Middle School's sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade bands participated in the Illinois Grade School Music Association Festival competition March 19 at CHMS. All three bands earned Division 1 ratings, the highest rating in the competition. The sixth-grade band earned a rare three perfect scores from the three judges. Eleven Hinsdale residents have tested positive for COVID-19 over the past week. The DuPage County Health Department reported 10 cases, and the Cook County Health Department reported 1 new case. Hinsdale Central students recently enjoyed after-school visits with several dogs from Pet Partners. The pet therapy dogs were a big hit with the kids and didn't lack for any attention or affection during their visit.
