    Forty-six Hinsdale residents have tested positive for COVID-19 over the past week. The DuPage County Health Department reported 36 new cases, and the Cook County Health Department reported 10 new cases. That brings the total number of reported cases in the village to 943, up from 897 last week.     Due to the pandemic, Hinsdale’s revenues declined by $1.9 million in 2020. Sales tax, food and beverage tax and parking permit revenues all declined dramatically. Fortunately, years of prudent financial management paid off in 2020. Despite the $1.9 million revenue decline, we maintained the same level of police, fire and public works services residents have come to expect.
