    Forty-eight Hinsdale residents have tested positive for COVID-19 over the past week. The DuPage County Health Department reported 45 new cases and the Cook County Health Department reported 3 new cases. That brings the total number of reported cases in the village to 677, up from 629 last week. Amita Hinsdale Hospital was treating 36 confirmed COVID-19 patients and 24 patients awaiting test results on Wednesday, a spokeswoman said.     The village’s leaf pick-up program, which offers free, unlimited, weekly curbside collection of leaves in kraft paper yard waste bags, will be offered through the week of Nov. 30. Bagged leaves should be placed in the parkway in front of the home, along the curb. Do not place bags in the street.     The Community Consolidated District 181 Board Monday night approved a tentative 2020 tax levy. But the ultimate amount sought could hinge on figures not yet known.
