Cora and Emery Haverkamp spent some quality time with the Easter bunny Saturday morning at The Community House. The sisters visited with the bunny before breakfast, sponsored by The Community House, and then were off to the Easter egg hunt in Robbins Park, sponsored by Hinsdale Parks and Recreation Department. Even with the added expense of remodeling a new district office and adding full-day kindergarten in 2025, Community Consolidated Elementary District 181 finances are expected to remain sound over the next five years. District year-end fund balances for 2024 are projected to total $39.5 million, or 54 percent of operating expenses.
