    For the fourth year in a row, The Hinsdalean was named the best large nondaily newspaper in the state in the Illinois Better Newspaper Contest. The paper earned the Will Loomis Memorial Trophy after receiving the most points in the Illinois Press Associations editorial contest. The paper also received the advertising sweepstakes trophy for mid-sized newspapers.     Hinsdale police and fire department personnel responded to a fatal train versus pedestrian accident at the Vine Street pedestrian crossing at 11:02 a.m. Wednesday. In a press release following the incident, police reported that a witness observed an adult man jump in front of a westbound freight train. The deceased victim was not a Hinsdale resident, according to the release, but police are not releasing further information pending notification of the next of kin.
