A new model of intervention introduced at Hinsdale Central and Hinsdale South last year has helped struggling students. The 25th annual Julie K. Heidecke tribute soccer clinic was held in March at Hinsdale Central. Hosted by Central's girls soccer players and staff the clinic was free to area children. Julie Heidecke graduated from Hinsdale Central in 1997. She was the captain of the soccer team and was an All-Conference selection her senior year. Hinsdale police are investigating a burglary to Kelsey Resale Boutique, 49 S. Washington St., that occurred at 1:19 a.m. Wednesday, May 24.
