ATHLETES SCORE FOR ST. JUDE’S The Hinsdale Central girls volleyball program raised $2,500 at its Volley for the Cure Oct. 9. Proceeds will be donated both to St. Jude’ Research Hospital and to a Hinsdale Central staff member whose family is battling cancer. The team raffled off 34 gift baskets, offered six silent auction items and sold baked goods during the Hinsdale Central-Hinsdale South volleyball game.
