Chinmay Amin Year: senior Hometown: Westmont What do you remember about your first cross country running experience? I started running when I was in sixth grade. I played tennis, too, but I found that I was enjoying running a lot more that tennis. Once I got to high school I was fully committed to it year-round. What makes it so enjoyable? There's just something about running a lot of miles with a group of guys. You develop a bond that you don't get in other sports. It's reall...

LOMBARD SHUTS OUT 11U GOLD The Hinsdale Falcons 11U Gold lost a tough game against the Lombard Falcons Sunday by a final score of 12-0. After kicking off to Lombard, Hinsdale started out strong with defensive end Tommy Riordan forcing a fumble, which was recovered by safety Charlie Fox on the game’s opening play from scrimmage. However, in a pattern that would repeat itself, the Hinsdale offense had a hard time moving the ball against a stout Lombard defense. Special teams also proved challenging for Hinsdale, as Lombard w...
