RUNNERS FINISH BOSTON MARATHON Seven Hinsdale runners competed in the 128th Boston Marathon April 15, with five of the seven completing the 26.2-mile run from Hopkinton, Mass., to Boylston Street in Boston in less than four hours. Miller sets state swim records Hinsdale’s Karina Miller set two new Illinois state records at the Age Group State Championships in July. Her times of 33.21 seconds in the 50-meter backstroke and 1:11.78 in the 100-meter backstroke were new marks for the 10 and under age level, both in the state and at the state meet.
