    1U Gold defeats Glen Ellyn The Hinsdale 10U Gold Falcons enjoyed a dominant 20-6 victory against a great opponent, Glen Ellyn, on Saturday at Brook Park. Charles Calhoun started the scoring four plays into the game on a 35-yard scamper to put the Falcons up 6-0. The defense shut Glen Ellyn down the next series and gave the ball back to the offense.     Gutman joins FC Cincinnati team Andrew Gutman has joined Major League Soccer’s FC Cincinnati on loan from Scottish Premiership side Celtic FC through the end of the 2020 MLS season. “We are excited to add Andrew to our roster,” FC Cincinnati general manager Gerard Nijkamp said. “He is an exciting young player that will add balance to our backline.     BROOKS TONN EVENT A SUCCESS Two recent events held in memory of Brooks Tonn, a 10-year-old Hinsdale boy who loved baseball and football and passed away in 2017, raised money for the Brooks Strong Foundation. The second annual Brooks Tonn Memorial 11U tourney held June 18-23 at Hinsdale Central and Peirce Park in Hinsdale, Walker School in Clarendon Hills and the Oak Brook Park District raised $3,000.
