Hinsdale police distributed the following reports July 23.
Motorist arrested for DUI
Jason M. Pavalon, 41, 2401 N. Janssen Ave., #408, Chicago, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and improper lane use at 2:49 a.m. July 21 in the 5900 block of County Line Road. He was charged and released to appear in court. All charges were dropped on April 19, 2021.
Trespassing arrest
Amy E. Colomb, 52, 10S320 Jamie Lane, Willowbrook, was arrested for criminal trespass to property at 8:06 a.m. July 19 at Corner Bakery, 42 E. Hinsdale Ave., for violating a no trespass order issued on April 23 and refusing to leave the business. She was charged and released to appear in court.
Vehicles burglarized
• A purse containing a wallet, vehicle and house keys, a checkbook, IDs, credit cards, $300 prescription glasses and an $800 cellphone were stolen from a vehicle between 7:15 and 7:45 p.m. July 20 while it was parked at KLM Park, 5901 S. County Line Road. A window on the vehicle was smashed.
• A wallet containing $40, headphones, a phone charger and miscellaneous gift cards were stolen from an unlocked vehicle between 4:50 and 6:47 p.m. July 20 while it was parked in the RML Specialty Hospital parking lot, 5601 S. County Line Road.
Hit and run incident
A motorist drove his vehicle into a garage door and four parked vehicles at 8:25 p.m. July 18 in the 400 block of Old Surrey Road and walked away from scene. The suspect was observed to be under the influence of drugs and was taken to the hospital for evaluation. Charges are pending lab results.
Church burglarized
The Chapel, 620 N. Oak St., was entered without permission between 8:30 p.m. July 17 and 9:30 a.m. July 18. A window screen was broken and a window was opened; nothing was reported missing.
License plates stolen
Two dealer license plates were stolen from Land Rover, 300 E. Ogden Ave. The incident was reported at 7:42 p.m. July 18.
Identity thefts reported
• Credit card information belonging to a resident of the 600 block of West Maple Street was used to make a fraudulent purchase in the amount of $1,380.19 at 12:42 p.m. July 17.
• A fraudulent credit card account was opened at 5:56 p.m. July 19 using information belonging to a resident of the 5500 block of South Madison Street.
