Ruth W. Pilgrim, 91, of Burr Ridge passed away Oct. 18, 2019.
She was born in 1928 in Westfield, Mass., to William and Edith Wallis.
She was preceded in death by her brother, William (the late Rita) Wallis.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Earl N. Pilgrim; her children, Betsy (Gregory) Szymski and Amy (James) Cammisano; her grandchildren, Matthew (Brooke) Sekera, Molly (Matthew) Seago, Amanda Szymski, Emily Szymski, Lauren Cammisano and Megan Cammisano; her great-grandchildren, Bridget, Benjamin, Addison and Charlie; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, at Adolf Funeral Home & Cremation Services Ltd., 7000 S. Madison St., Willowbrook.
A memorial service will follow at the funeral home at 11 a.m.
Interment is private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
