William E. Schultz, 79, of Burr Ridge died Nov. 14, 2019.
He was born in 1940 in Chicago. He was general superintendent for International Harvester/Case IH and retired after a dedicated 30-year career.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Shirley A. Schultz, nee Jankowski; his children, Patricia Schultz, Barbara Schultz, Jennifer (Christopher) Nelson, Debbie Schultz and Christine (Robert) Haldeman; his grandchildren, Vivian Svoboda, Andrew Nelson and Margaret Nelson; his siblings, Janet Eichorst, Barbara McCoy, Edward Schultz, Michael Schultz and Vicki Schultz-Gontarz; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials made online to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (https://www.pancan.org) or the Lake Lucerne Advancement Association (https://www.lakelucernewi.com) would be appreciated.
Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, from at Adolf Funeral Home & Cremation Services Ltd., 7000 S. Madison Street, Willowbrook.
Friends and family will meet at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, for prayers at the funeral home before proceeding to St. John of the Cross Church, 5005 Wolf Road, Western Springs, for an 11 a.m. Mass.
Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.
