Anthony Garbis, 80, of Hinsdale passed away peacefully Dec. 4, 2019.
He was born in 1939 and was a successful business man.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Dina, Denny and Bill.
He is survived by his wife, Antionette Garbis, nee Vlahos; his children, Stephanie (Michael) Waghorn, Jerry “Mike” (Tami Davis) Garbis, Janie Garbis and Christina (Jimmy) Bibizas; his grandchildren, Peter, Anthony, Alexander, Anthony, Holly, Pauline, Antonia, Beatrice, Dimitri, Veronica and Jack; his great-grandchildren, Sloane and Theodore, and his siblings, Ted, Kathy, Louis.
Visitation is at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 601 S. Central Ave. Chicago.
A funeral service will follow at the church at 10:30 a.m.
Interment is at Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plaines.
Sullivan Funeral Home in Hinsdale handled the arrangements.
