Donald J. Kula, 83, of Hinsdale died Dec. 24, 2019.
Donald was devoted husband, proud father and grandfather and devout Catholic. He was a graduate of St. Philip Neri Grammar School, Mt. Carmel High School and a former basketball player at the University of Illinois and Western Michigan University.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia E. Kula.
He is survived by his children, Ginny "Coco" (Pete Aleman) Kula, Donald J. (Marichi) Kula, John (Lisa) Kula, Tom (Lisa) Kula and Mary (Josiah Mazzaschi) Kula; his grandchildren, Gabriela, Ben, Joey, Will and Paul; and his brothers, Steve (Kathy) Kula and Pete (the late Nancy) Kula.
A funeral Mass was said Dec. 30 at Notre Dame Church in Clarendon Hills.
Interment is at St. Mary Cemetery in Evergreen Park.
