assed away Feb. 19, at Richard L. Owens Hospice Home, after being in the loving company of her family.
She was born in 1930 in Dallas to Ovid and Madeline (Meyers) Cole. She married Dean H. Heydenberk on April 10, 1959.
Most of her working years were spent in real estate sales and staging. Her true passion, however, was art, through both creation and appreciation. She studied painting under prominent Chicago artist, Martin Pribil. Many of her paintings were acquired by various Chicago area galleries. She painted a local landmark for the city of Hinsdale, which found its place as a permanent installation in the village's Centennial Collection. She was of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dean Heydenberk, on Nov. 30, 2006.
She is survived by her second husband, Wesley Widger; her son, David (Connie) Heydenberk; her grandson, Mitchell (Hayle) Heydenberk; her granddaughter, Alexa Heydenberk; her three stepchildren, Jo Ellyn (Mike) Jablonski, Janet (Rick) Lookand and Jeff Widger; five step-grandchildren, Korey (Shawna) Jablonski, Cody (Rachel) Jablonski, Erick Look, Adam Look and Maggie Look; and three step-great-grandchildren, Kamden and Oaklyn Jablonski and Quinn Jablonski.
