CENTRAL STUDENTS RECEIVE AWARDS
Several students from Hinsdale Central were recognized by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers in conjunction with its Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
Stella Dang received a Gold Key in the personal essay and memoir category.
Gianna Dugan, Mara Severts, Isabel Sunderland and Anand Yallapragada earned honorable mentions in the personal essay and memoir category.
Lia Fawley and Aileen Yang earned honorable mentions in the short story category.
Amy Dong received an honorable mention in the humor category.
The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards honor the vision, ingenuity and talent of the nation’s youth and provide opportunities for creative teens to be celebrated.
