Kellanna Kay (Cundari) Glasby, 49, of Hinsdale, passed away March 24, 2020, at home surrounded by the love of her family.
She was born in 1970 in Indianapolis. She enjoyed the opportunity to live in six different states before settling in the Chicagoland area during high school. She graduated from Barrington High School in 1988 and Eastern Illinois University in 1992. Kellanna met her soul mate, Joe, at EIU and the couple was married on April 8, 1995. They were blessed with two children, Joseph, 20, and Maddy, 18.
Kellanna prioritized her role as a parent, and like anything that she prioritized, she excelled at it. Kellanna also worked as a general manager for several retailers, where she was always regarded by leadership as a top performer and by the teams that she worked with as the best boss they ever had.
A daughter, a sister, a wife, a friend, a boss and an amazing mom amongst a million other things, Kellanna leaves an unmatched legacy. She will be missed by everyone that she connected with during her 49 years.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Michael Glasby V; her children, Joseph Michael VI and Madelyn Marie; her parents, Patrick Jr. and Mary (Meilahn) Cundari; her mother-in-law, Laura (Grube) Thomas; her brother and sister-in-law, Patrick III and Stacey Cundari; her nephew, Nicholas; her niece, Caitlin; her aunt, Leandra Cundari Quella; her godchild, Lydia Quella; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will gather for a celebration of Kellanna’s life, with details announced at a later date.
