Barbara Davies of Westmont passed away April 26, 2020, with her family at her side.
Barbara, 88, was born in 1931 in Hinsdale to Arnold and Amy Jung. She was artistic, an excellent seamstress and quilter and a good cook. She enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. Her latest passion over the last 20 years was researching the family's genealogy. She also volunteered her time with the Clarendon Hills Historical Society.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husbands, Ramon "Pinky" Wild and John Davies; her companion, George "Babe" Brownlee; her daughter, Robin Rae Wild; and her brother, Kenneth Jung.
She is survived by her children, Stephen (Linda) Wild and Judy (Dale) Kubis; her grandchildren, Jen (Dave) Garcia, Ricky Wild, Robin Rae Hejnar, Chrystal Kubis and Nick Kubis; her great-grandchild, Reagan Lovelady; her sister, Judith Jones; her nieces, Kerrie Jung and Amy Jones; and her nephews, KJ Jung and John Jones.
With the current guidelines restricting large gatherings, a private family interment will be held at Clarendon Hills Cemetery in Darien.
