The Hinsdale High School District 86 Board is inviting applications to fill a vacant board seat.
Nancy Pollak announced June 29 that she was stepping down from her position on the board because she was moving out of state. Illinois School Code requires that the vacancy must be filled no more than 60 days after it occurred. Based on this requirement, the board’s plan is to identify her replacement by its Aug. 27 meeting.
Those interested in being considered for the open board seat must submit an application by 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 21.
