A bicycle built for one - This photo is from Sandy Williams book, "Images of America - Hinsdale." Sadie Noble is shown with her new bicycle in 1897. Residents across the village loved the form of transportation, and men, women and children all rode around town. During the week almost 100 bicycles were parked at the train station and nearly as many at churches on Sunday. Do you have a Hinsdale photo that is at least 25 years old? We'd love to share it with our readers. Stop by our office at 7 W. First St. or email it to [email protected].
