The Hinsdale Plan Commission will hold a public hearing on McNaughton Development’s proposed community, Heather Highlands, at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9.
The development proposed for 37 acres on the northeast corner of Ogden Avenue and Adams Street includes 46 homes and 23 acres of open space. McNaughton is seeking seek a special use permit for a planned development, with variances for lot size, building coverage and lot coverage, among others.
After the plan commission holds a public hearing on the proposal, that group will make a recommendation to the Hinsdale Village Board. Trustees will vote whether to approve the application.
Ryan Companies already has presented a proposal for its Hinsdale Senior Residences on 16.8 acres at the northwest corner of Ogden and Adams. The development would include 245 units and 17 senior villas.
Ryan Companies agreed to temporarily suspend its request due to the pandemic.
