Voting by mail is an option for voters to cast their ballot prior to Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3.
Voters can request a vote by mail ballot through the mail or in person at the DuPage County Election Commission, 421 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton.
An application to vote by mail is available on the Illinois State Board of Elections website at https://www.elections.il.gov/electionoperations/VotingByMail.aspx. Ballots will not start being mailed until Sept. 24. It could take four to five business days to receive the ballot.
All requests by mail must be received by Oct. 29, and all in-person early voting requests must be made by Nov. 2.
