Raymond J. Henning, 96, of Oak Brook, formerly of Hinsdale, died Nov. 1, 2020 peacefully at home with his son, Raymond Scott by his side.
Ray served honorably in World War II. He went on to spend 40 years in advertising and marketing. Ray launched four companies before he retired at age 88 from Xcell International Corp., of which his son Dean is president.
He is survived by his wife, Millie (Balaja) Henning .; his children, Kathy (Jeff) Limp, Raymond Scott (fiancée Samai) Henning and Dean Henning; his grandchildren, Steve (Clare) and Mark Limp, Kyle Sill and Alex Henning; and his sister, Mae Macketta.
A funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, at St. Issac Jogues Church, 306 W. Fourth St., Hinsdale.
Entombment will be private at Bronswood Cemetery in Oak Brook.
