Fifty-four Hinsdale residents have tested positive for COVID-19 over the past week.
The DuPage County Health Department reported 46 new cases, and the Cook County Health Department reported eight new cases.
That brings the total number of reported cases in the village to 1,186, up from 1,132 last week.
Amita Hinsdale Hospital was treating 13 confirmed COVID-19 patients and had three patients awaiting test results on Wednesday, a spokeswoman said.
Community Consolidated District 181 reported 10 new cases from Jan. 13 to 19, including seven students, two teachers and a substitute teacher.
Hinsdale High School District 86 reported 55 current positive cases Jan. 15, with 64 people in isolation and 53 in quarantine.
The rolling seven-day positivity rate for Region 8, which includes DuPage County, was 8.2 percent on Saturday, compared to 10.3 percent a week prior.
