Thirty-seven Hinsdale residents have tested positive for COVID-19 over the past week.
The DuPage County Health Department reported 33 new cases, and the Cook County Health Department reported four new cases.
That brings the total number of reported cases in the village to 1,298, up from 1,261 last week.
Amita Hinsdale Hospital was treating eight confirmed COVID-19 patients and had two patients awaiting test results on Wednesday, a spokeswoman said.
Community Consolidated District 181 reported eight new cases from Feb. 3 to Feb. 8, including six students, one teacher and one staff member.
Hinsdale High School District 86 reported 10 current positive cases Feb. 5, with 62 people in isolation and 43 in quarantine.
The rolling seven-day positivity rate for Region 8, which includes DuPage County, was 4.9 percent on Saturday, compared to 6.4 percent a week prior.
