Twenty-seven Hinsdale residents have tested positive for COVID-19 over the past week.
The DuPage County Health Department reported 26 new cases, and the Cook County Health Department reported 1 new cases.
That brings the total number of reported cases in the village to 1,618, up from 1,591 last week.
Amita Hinsdale Hospital had six confirmed COVID-19 patients and no patients awaiting test results on Wednesday, a spokeswoman said.
Community Consolidated District 181 reported nine new cases from April 5-6, all of which involved students.
Hinsdale High School District 86 has not updated its numbers since March 26, as last week was spring break.
The rolling seven-day positivity rate for Region 8, which includes DuPage County, was 6.7 percent on Saturday, compared to 5.2 percent a week prior.
Illinois has administered almost 8 million doses of vaccines. An average of 106,9756 vaccines are being administered daily, compared to 105,040 last week. About 20 percent of DuPage County residents are fully vaccinated.
