Hinsdale Village Board
Among other business Tuesday, trustees:
• unanimously approved spending up to $771,600 with Schaefgas Brothers for improvements to the Hinsdale Community Pool. Phase 1 includes replacing the lap pool deck, repairing ground joints, replacing grout under the perimeter gutter and repainting the main pool. Phase 2 includes replacing four pool filters. The village received a $400,000 Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development Grant and is required to spend at least $800,000 on the project.
• voted 6-0 to approve an ordinance amending the village code related to the number of liquor licenses in the village to allow Nabuki to sell packaged liquor. Trustees also indicated they plan to support a liquor license request from Yia Yia’s Cafe.
