Kenneth Henry Kopka Jr., 74, of Oak Brook, died May 30, 2021.
Kenneth was a U.S. Army veteran as well as a DuPage County Sheriff and later became a general contractor. Kenneth enjoyed fishing as well as spending time with his family. He was a proud grandfather-to-be.
He is survived by his sons, Kenneth H. (Jessica) Kopka III and William Kopka; his sister, Barbara Kopka; and his nieces, Sheri Kopka and Lisa (Craig) Nelson and their children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jean H. and Kenneth H. Kopka Sr.; and his brother, James Kopka.
A private family burial of his cremated remains will be held at Bronswood Cemetery in Oak Brook.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be appreciated to the Kopka family as well as the Wounded Warrior Project.
