Joseph D. Svandra, 79, of Oak Brook died July 15, 2021.
Joseph, wife Lynn and son Eric were the presidents and owners of Business Computer Design International for 38 years. Joe was a trusted friend to many, a great listener and a very kind man.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lynn L. Svandra; and his son, Joseph Falaschi Jr.
He is survived by his children, Eric (Ann Ross) Svandra, Alexandra (Randall) Radtke and Rebecca Ann McCully; his grandchildren, Vincent Svandra, Kevin (Alyssa) Svandra, Caitlin (Matthew) Sweeney and Evan Radtke, Mason, Meadow and Sienna McCully, and Kinsey and Joseph Falaschi; his great-grandchildren, Niikolai and Ary Svandra; his niece and nephew, Elsa Svandra and Philippe Svandra and their families; his sister, Patricia (Ronald) Hyne; and his brother-in-law, Ary (Therese) Svandra.
Visitation is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 24, at Sullivan Funeral Home, 60 S. Grant St., Hinsdale.
A funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at Notre Dame Church, 64 Norfolk Ave., Clarendon Hills.
Interment is at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
