Thirty Hinsdale residents have tested positive for COVID-19 over the past week.
The DuPage County Health Department reported 27 new cases, and the Cook County Health Department reported three new cases.
That brings the total number of reported cases in the village to 2,016, compared to 1,986 last week.
Amita Hinsdale Hospital had five confirmed COVID-19 patients and no patients awaiting test results as of Wednesday, a spokeswoman said.
Hinsdale High School District 86, reported seven positive cases, 57 in isolation and 10 in quarantine as of Sept. 17. Vaccination rates are almost 64 percent for students at Hinsdale Central and holding 94 percent for D86 staff.
In Community Consoli-dated Elementary District 181, five positive cases were reported Sept. 14-22. They involve four students and one staff member.
The rolling seven-day positivity rate for Region 8, which includes DuPage County, was 3.7 percent on Saturday, compared to 4.3 percent a week prior.
Illinois has administered almost 14.4 million doses of vaccines. An average of 19,366 doses are being administered daily, compared to about 19,802 last week.
More than 64 percent of DuPage County residents are fully vaccinated.
