Lynn M. Johnson, 88, of Burr Ridge passed away peacefully Nov. 4, 2021, surrounded by her children.
Lynn's greatest joy in life was to love and care for her family. She was active in numerous community activities throughout her life, including as an involved parent with PTA and school activities, chapter president of the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago, co-founder of the Badman Theater Company of Clarendon Hills, deacon at Community Presbyterian Church of Clarendon Hills and active participant with the KB Adorables at King-Bruwaert in Burr Ridge.
Lynn was preceded in death by her husband, Noel C. Johnson; and her parents, Daniel H. and Frances T. Mowat.
Lynn is survived by her children, Kirsten Johnson, Reid (Jean Scott) Johnson, Lauren Johnson and Curt Johnson; her brother, Dr. Bruce (Grace) Mowat; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, at Sullivan Funeral Home, 60 S. Grant St., Hinsdale.
Interment is private at Bronswood Cemetery in Oak Brook.
