As of early morning Wednesday, reports indicated more than 8 inches of snow had blanketed Hinsdale. By the end of the day another 4 or more inches were expected. Village crews began deploying trucks at 3 a.m. and already had made several passes across many streets in town. A bobcat with a brush attached was at work at the train station clearing off the platform. Not many stores were open Wednesday morning.
