Dorothy T. Martinsen, nee Duda, 93, a longtime Hinsdale resident, passed away May 23, 2022.
Dorothy was born in 1928 to Agnes and Michael Duda. She was an adventurer, gardener and lifelong friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; her brother, Charles (Marjorie) Duda; and her nephew, James.
She is survived by her nephews, Michael (Cheryl), Thomas (Christine) and David; her niece, Laura (Daniel) Stanek; and her great-nieces and -nephews, Jackie, Michelle, Beth, Matt, Dan, Alexis, Jake, Ryan, and Matthew.
Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, at Adolf Funeral Home, 7000 S. Madison St., Willowbrook.
Family and friends will gather for a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, at St. Isaac Jogues Church, 306 W. Fourth St., Hinsdale. Services will conclude at the church.
A private family interment will take place at a later date at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.
