Among other business June 2, board members:
• voted 6-1, with Jeff Waters voting no, to approve a memorandum of understanding with the Hinsdale High School Teachers Association for 13 early release Wednesdays during the 2022-23 school year. Waters said his vote did not indicate a lack of support for teachers but his opposition to the early release program.
• unanimously approved a three-year contract with SchoolLinks, which will replace Naviance, to provide college and career guidance services. The switch will provide more features to students and is expected to save the district $9,000 over the next three years.
• thanked outgoing Hinsdale Central board liaison Christine Leung, who has graduated, and welcomed new board liaison Meghna Mitra
