Hinsdale police distributed the following reports July 27.
Controlled substance, DUI arrest
Alana R. Rajcevich, 30, 300 N. Cardinal Ave., Addison, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance, driving with a blood-alcohol content higher than .08, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of drugs, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding at 1:12 a.m. July 21 in the 400 block of East 55th Street. She was in possession of a white powdery substance that field tested positive for cocaine. She was charged and taken to DuPage County Jail.
DUI arrest
Lisa M. Sims, 40, 1049 N. Avers, Chicago, was arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol, unlawful possession of cannabis by a driver and driving without a valid license at 12:22 a.m. July 25 at Ogden Avenue and County Line Road. She was charged and released to appear in court.
Revoked license arrest
Acolen S. Davis, 46, 7225 S. Champlain Ave., No. 1, Chicago, was arrested for felony driving with a revoked license, monitory device driving permit/no device and speeding at 8:04 p.m. July 24 in the 400 block of West 55th Street. Davis was charged and taken to DuPage County Jail.
DUI arrest pending
A driver stopped for an equipment violation and failure to signal a lane change at 12:57 a.m. July 23 in the 400 block of West 55th Street was in possession of a white powdery substance in a plastic baggie. The suspect submitted blood and urine samples and was released. Police are waiting for results of the lab report. Charges are pending.
Thefts reported
• The catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle parked in a lot in the 900 block of York Road at 11:21 a.m. July 21. A witness observed someone under the car and another suspect standing alongside. Both fled the area before police arrived.
• Someone stole the catalytic converter from a vehicle parked in the lot at Colonial Gardens Apartments, 5506 S. Madison St., between July 18 and 22.
Burglary to vehicles
Someone smashed the windows on two vehicles parked at Hinsdale Racquet Club and took a $125 backpack and $345 pair of shoes and rummaged through the interiors between 5:55 and 6:15 p.m. July 19.
Identity theft reported
Someone used the identity of a resident of the 600 block of Justina Street to open a telephone account between June 1 and 30. The incident was reported July 20.
