Hinsdale High School District 86 Board
Among other business at their July 28 meeting, board members:
• listened as Superintendent Tammy Prentiss said a preliminary look at recently released AP scores shows significant improvement in the district after a dip of about 10 percent last year. The district saw an 8-percent increase in the passing rate for a return to 2018 levels. A full report will be presented in October.
• voted unanimously to put the fiscal year 2023 tentative budget on display on the district website and at the district office. A public hearing on the spending plan is set for Thursday, Sept. 22. The board is expected to adopt the budget following the public hearing.
• learned graduation for the Class of 2023 will take place at 7 p.m. June 1 at Hinsdale Central and Hinsdale South high schools
• were informed the board’s Oct. 13 committee of the whole meeting has been moved to Oct. 6
