The DuPage County Health Department reported six new cases of COVID-19 in Hinsdale over the past week, bringing the total number of cases in the DuPage County portion of Hinsdale to 4,205, up from 4,199 last week. The Cook County Health Department no longer reports on cases specific to Hinsdale.
The number of cases per 100,000 population in DuPage was 11.3 on Oct. 4, compared to 13.8 on Sept. 28. The community level remains at low for the second week in a row.
District 181 reported five positive cases from Sept. 27 to Oct. 3, including two students, two teachers and one staff member.
District 86 reported one positive case at Hinsdale Central as of Sept. 30.
