Hinsdale police distributed the following reports Oct. 11.
DUI arrest
Cristian J. Garcia, 26, 5054 S. Drummond Place, Chicago, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without a valid driver’s license, improper lane use and illegal transportation of open alcohol at 4:36 p.m. Oct. 9 at Ogden Avenue and Route 83. He was charged and released to appear in court.
Aggravated battery arrest
Mark A, Wilson Jr, 43, 607 E. 16th St., Chicago, was arrested for aggravated battery at 2:32 p.m. Oct. 4 at AdventHealth Hinsdale Hospital, 120 N. Oak St., after making contact of an insulting or provoking nature with a hospital security officer performing his official duties. He was charged and taken to DuPage County Jail.
Arrest for warrant
Lisa M. Kirrin, 57, 12131 Flambeau Drive, Palos Heights, was arrested on a warrant out of Cook County after she was stopped for a registration check at 6:12 p.m. Oct. 5 in the 10 block of East First Street. She posted bond and was released to appear in court.
Forgery reported
Business checks were forged against the account of Chicago Capital Holdings, 120 E. Ogden Ave. between Sept. 23 and 30. The incident was reported Oct. 4.
Identity theft incident
The identity of a resident of the 100 block of North Lincoln Street was used to open a fraudulent bank account on Oct. 6. No dollar loss was reported.
Dog bites mail carrier
A U.S. mail carrier reported being bitten by a dog while delivering mail at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 8 in the 700 block of South Bruner Street. The victim refused medical assistance.
