Lorraine Kozak, 100, a 40-year resident of Hinsdale, passed away Oct. 12, 2022, with her family by her side.
Lorraine was born in Chicago in 1921 to Lillian and Edward Murphy. She was an avid reader, knitter, cook and baker. She was famous, in her family, for her "Fudge Jumbles." Always one to lend a hand, Lorraine, at age 98, was making masks during the COVID pandemic.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph T. Kozak.
She is survived by her two sons, Joseph (Waltraud) and Michael (Barbara); her daughter, Linda (John) Nash; her five grandchildren; her 10 great-grandchildren; and her three great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, at Adolf Funeral Home, 7000 S. Madison St. Willowbrook.
A service will follow at the funeral home at 4 p.m.
