Thousands flocked to the Christmas Walk Friday night. Once Santa arrived, Village President Tom Cauley began the countdown to turn on the lights on the Christmas tree in front of the Memorial Building. Ellie Merchant gives Frosty a hug outside of Meredith Jaye. The carousel ride, sponsored by Razny Jewelers, had crowds lined up. Annelise Tate and mom Lindsey enjoyed the ride. Olivia Agema and mom Amy watched the tree lighting. Jim Phillip welcomed guests in to Phillip’s Flowers with a Star of Bethlehem flower. Marta Braunstein and Emily Tam helped children create ornaments in Sam Sharp’s Guaranteed Rate pop up tent.
